My wife is a huge Nightmare Before Christmas fan. I thought she had everything already but apparently she did not have the soundtrack until now. Of course she is in love with it.

This is the only movie that my four year old has fallen in love with -the music is spectaular and the story multi-layered. It is a bit dark and is not for everyone.

I've always been a fan of the movie. So having the music is really awesome. Also the second disk is really nice too.

A present for my daughter. she loves it. So do I, and her sister, her aunt, uncle, grandparents, teachers, cousins, neighbors, friends, friends of neighbors, people that read Amazon reviews, world leaders, trash men, crash test dummies, sewer rats and the pope.

The varied styles of the artists on this album lend an even more creative air to Danny Elfman's unique music. There are two different remakes of the songs to The Nightmare Before Christmas, this one providing a more alternative Rock flavor to the songs, while the Nightmare Before Christmas Revisited provides a more alternate Metal feel to the works. Not all the songs are better than the originals, and Elfman's own voice provides a better version of Jack's songs than the remakes, and is included along with some of the other original artists. Only a few songs are remade, so don't expect a completely different album. For that you need the Revisited album.
