Will be a favoriteOct 24, 2009 THE WEDNESDAY LETTERS will probably be one of my favorite books and one that I will
read again and again. The patience, love and forgiveness are inspirational. This
is definitely a keeper. One of the most enjoyable books I have read in a long time.
Will definitely recommend this book.
A story of love and forgivenessOct 18, 2009 This is a story about families, forgiveness, and love. When the owners of a successful bed and breakfast in Virginia die, their three grown children find a previously unknown large cache of letters written from their father to their mother each and every Wednesday throughout their marriage. Through reading the letters, old secrets were revealed about family and friends. The love and healing of this family are subsequently passed on to and through their children. A lovely and satisfying read.
The Wednesday LettersOct 13, 2009 This is an excellent book. It holds your attention and the book shows the human frailties of everyone. Characters are well developed. I would recommend this to everyone.

Nice Story, Too Easy a Read.Oct 12, 2009 The book summary caught me and I bought it. Within the first 2 pages I knew that the book was too easy a read for me. The idea of the Wednesday letters from husband to wife was a good one, that is what pulled me in. The letters themselves left a lot to desire. There was no character development, there wasn't even good monologue. It was written like "he said this" and then she said "this" the whole way through.
Rain felt like she was thrown in there because the author needed a love interest.
I wanted to love this book. But I didn't care about any of the characters.

The Wednesday Letters--Great Romantic Idea, Regretable ExecutionOct 03, 2009 I LOVED the romantic idea that forms the basis of this book--what romantic wouldn't? But I was grossly disappointed in the execution of the story when it became apparent about a quarter of the way in that this author wanted to proselytize. The thread of the story seemed to get very mucked up and was poorly executed which was not aided in any way by the preachy tone and sappy ending. Blech! I should have bought a coffee instead.
