 The big bang--whimperNov 21, 2009
Very uneven performances. Leonard, who is the 'straight man' of the comedy team impressed me much more than Sheldon as an actor. Sheldon is a caricature of all the nerd-genius--relationship negative characters who ever performed in any media.
Penny is believable and enjoyable.
The later episodes did improve, so I will probably buy future seasons.

This is one of my favourites and is one of the best comedies out there. For $15 this is more then worth it.
Amazon's shipping very very disappointing, it took them forever to ship it.

Was only referred to this show earlier this year. After watching half an episode (Flipped channels in time to catch the end of the episode) I realised that I'd ultimately end up buying the dvd, so saved myself the prolonged torment and ordered it straight away.
I long all the guys, but Sheldon is just so adorable in his own obnoxious way. I'm sure I'll end up buying every series (and most likely sooner rather than later... just don;t tell my bank account :)

Very funny & a Must-Watch! Rented the DVDs from a shop without any expectations. Blew my mind and made me laugh non-stop from start to finish. Stands out amongst other current comedy serials with its unique setting, characters and storylines. Had to own my own set & bought it at a great price from Amazon.com!

Once again, I have trusted the overwhelmingly postive reviews at Amazon, and once again I have been rewarded with excellent entertainment.
The first time was "Firefly" and I have been in love with it since.
Now, "Big Bang Theory": it is simply PERFECT.
That's all I have time for now. I need to keep watching it!
