Salesforce.com for DummiesSep 08, 2009 This is a highly thoughtful, highly usable book. The author had me in mind when he laid out the chapters. I have returned to the book at least once a week to clarify some of the intricacies of actual use. I would be open to picking up an advanced version (Salesforce.com for Semi-Dummies?).

bad bookJun 05, 2009 i would sell it for $2. there is absolutely nothing that suggests that this book is not for Developers ... come on guys, there is not even a single thing that is worth spending a couple of mins on ... this is just milking the franchise.

It's Like Having a Tiny Consultant in Your HandOct 22, 2008 I'm relatively new to Salesforce.com and I've found this book to be a huge help. At my organization, we did not hire any consultants to assist us in customizing Salesforce.com for our needs. This book has been by my side as a handy resource to the questions that I've had as I get comfortable with Salesforce.com Regardless of your technical proficiency, this book is a good resource to those look to become more comfortable with Salesforce.com.

A solid book for someone getting started on SalesForceSep 08, 2008 This is a great book on SalesForce in the tried and true '- For Dummies' format. Covers a lot of the functionality of SalesForce in a well laid out manner. Between this book and "maximizing your sales with Salesforce.com" you should have everything you need on hand in your house/office to get you around SalesForce like a pro.

Salesforce for DummiesMar 26, 2008 Good overview but lacking in detailed usage instructions. Need to have step by step walk throughs because the online help feature is very confusing. Also needs to reference more clearly what version of Salesforce and modules are needed for certain scenarios.
