1Disappointed, DisgustedNov 16, 2009
Really disappointed to see such an awful gender divide in this series, where little girls can only be princesses and little boys can only be warriors. Little girls get to seek adoration and little boys get to seek honor, and somehow these are mutually exclusive? I will not be exposing my children to anything like this.

5The perfect Bible for little girlsOct 27, 2009
My daughter adores this little bible which relates bible stories to "girl life" and using girl talk. The reason we purchased it from Amozon was because her original one (a gift) was damaged and she was torn up beyond belief over the loss. I is quite precious to her.

5Adorable and sweet!Sep 02, 2009
This adorable children's devotional bible is designed specifically for our little girly girls. It includes praise songs, fun activities, plays to perform, and bible stories.
My nine year old daughter thinks that it was a very nice bible and liked reading the stories. She says that she found out that thousands of years ago people lived to be 10,000 years old. Her favorite part was when God came down and asked where Adam and Eve were and they were truthful because when God asked where they were they told Him that they were hiding from Him. They had not done what they had supposed to and they had eaten fruit from a tree they weren't supposed to, because a snake told them to. She also says that she liked all the songs. The activities were really fun and were things like looking into a mirror and deciding whether smiling or frowning looks better. She also liked how there was a place at the beginning of the book to write down all of your favorite things. She thinks the book is very pretty and shared it with her sisters.
My ten year old says that she likes how there were little plays because she loves to act. She likes the songs because they are simple and easy to remember, like "joy to the world" and "this little light of mine". She thought it was cool how there were trivia questions on behavior. And they both liked how the little jewel is on the tiara on the front of the cover.
My seven year old thinks it is beautiful and nice looking. We would recommend this bible as a gift for the special little girl(s) in your life!

5Fit For a PrincessAug 21, 2009
I am writing this review for Thomas Nelson' Book Review Bloggers. Having just added a little princess to our family, my book choice this time was the "God's Little Princess Devotional Bible" by Sheila Walsh. The princess was in love with this book from the second it arrived (probably has something to do with the crown and jewels on the cover), and I love it, too. This book is worth every penny of the $16.99 MSRP and an especially great value at Amazon's low price.

Small princesses (probably mostly the 6-10 year old kind) will love the Beauty Secrets (think inner beauty), Bible Princesses, My Hero (Scripture promises), Take a Bow (easy scripts and props to act out the story with Mom), I Adore You (songs, scripture and worship activities), Royal Truths, Down In My Heart (Scripture Memory), Princess Charming, and Worthy of Love (ideas to show how a princess should love her "royal subjects": family, siblings, friends and those in the community) articles written alongside the Bible stories.

Moms of little princesses will love how this book helps them to understand Scripture and internalize the true secrets to being beautiful inside and out. And, I personally love how the Take a Bow section is written to include Mom in the fun and learning.

Our little princess needs to learn a little more English before we can take full advantage of this book together, but I can't wait 'til she can! I highly recommend this book to parents of young princesses everywhere!

3Good if you are short on time! or have many children!Aug 10, 2009
I found this an eye catching and entertaining devotional. While I have not completed this devotional with my 6 year old daughter, she has enjoyed looking through all the devotions. The cover attracted her to the book right away...as any "little princess" would with bright pink letters and a sparkling crown on the front! The devotions are written directly to my daughter and are easily understood. In fact, I don't need to do much outside explaining. The activities initially scared me because I wasn't sure if I would be able to accomplish them without planning ahead! As a mom of 3 kids, planning ahead would stop me from doing this devotional right away, there just isn't much time at home. Fortunately the activities are simple and easy...not to mention fun! I can recommend this book to mom's as a way to connect with their daughters on a spiritual level.
