Great mp3 and video playerNov 22, 2009 I have several different types of mp3 players. I love the Zen because of its user friendly program that helps me easily organize music and videos. The video converter works very well, and you can use those converted videos on many other devices that also require conversion. Perfect for listening to music on the subway and watching videos on the go. The SD slot is an extra bonus to expand the available space. I haven't found a problem with this device (wish the video screen was bigger, but there are other devices for that).
Hope yours doesn't die tooNov 21, 2009 I got my Creative last Jan 1, 2009. I actually have the 16GBmodelIt was great up until 1 week ago. Easy to use, beautiful screen. Got the earphones & the sound was fantastic. Treated it like a baby, never dropped, protective sleeve & then it stopped working. Wouldn't charge, couldn't reset it, computer didn'trecognize it, installdisc "encountered a problem" & wouldn't open. I tried all the fixes on the "support site". When they didn't work I tried to create a warranty service tag. I was put into a loop where I couldn't create an account. I called Amazon & they gave me their number. Couldn't get to a person. When the computer asked if I had bought the product within the last 60 days & I answered no I was told I didn't qualify for phone support. Soooooo, I had a nice 10 months with my Zen. Would love if I could get it repaired. Instead I have a very pretty useless piece of electronics.
Beware buyer, if it breaks your stuck with something pretty too, pretty useless. Worse customer support I have EVER experienced! Don't buy it!!!! Get the Sansa or the i-pod.

Do not buy if you listen to books!Nov 02, 2009 I spent a fair amount of time researching this product and making sure that it supported audible files and the long and short of it is that it does not really support the files even though the claim is made. The Zen will play the audible file format (AAC). The problem is that when you download your files from audible they can be quite large which causes the bookmark function to fail and results in your relistening to 40 minutes or an hour of the story every time you use the bookmark function. Want to get 20 minutes in on your way to work? Forget about it as you will be listening to old stuff over and over again. I spent a year with customer support on this issue and they even replaced my unit once but the problem was was not addressed and the new unit worked the same as the old one. At one point I sent them sample files so they could replicate the problem and they confirmed that bookmarking was broken. They stalled long enough for the warrantee to expire and then told me I couldn't get a refund because it had been over a year since my purchase. So if you listen to small files then you probably won't have a problem but if you need to keep your place in a large file, as the audible files invariably are, then this product will not work for you at all. As far as I am concerned I have purchased my last product sold by Creative. It is clear from their policies that they do not stand behind their products and do not value the customer. I urge you to benefit from my mistake.
Creative ZenOct 20, 2009 This MP3 player integrates well with Rhapsody to go. I am pleased with the sound quality. Would like to see a speaker. Although I still have withdrawal pains from theZen Vision M wearing out, I am glad I replaced it with the Zen. The size makes it convenient to carry in a pocket or purse. Clarity of screen is excellent.
Very nice mp3 playerOct 13, 2009 I bought the Zen as a replacement for my other mp3 player that abruptly died on me earlier this year (the older one was a Phillips Jukebox model). After shopping around, I decided to give the Zen a chance, and I have been very satisfied with my purchase thus far. The Zen offers a lot of great features, although I'm a little disappointed that the shuffled play resets after it has been off for over an hour or more. The minor inconvenience aside, I absolutely love my Zen and feel like it has definitely been an ample replacement.
