Rachel Ray Rocks it!Sep 04, 2009 I have 3 children I am teaching to cook ages 5, 7, 10. This book is the best childrens cook book I have seen. They each pick one recipe a week and we prepare it. She does well at explaining what we are doing and why. She also is specific and is clear when adult help is needed. I appreciate that the recipes are delicious and made with real ingredients not prepared mixes. We are thrilled with the book and having a great time!

Rachael's fun bookAug 28, 2009 My granddaughter made the meatball soup. Her father loved the soup. This is a family that do not eat at home. They would perfer Mortons. So Rachael created a hit.

Not what i thought it would beMar 21, 2009 I normally love Rachael Ray cookbooks i own almost all of hers i think i'm missing 3 or 4 and so when i picked up this copy i was really excited because i have a two year old that is a picky eater i thought for sure there would be some great recipes in this. Well there are great recipes she has mainly geared them towards teens and adolesents and grown-ups which when i think of kinds is like 12 and under so i was expecting things i could make with my two year old and so on and so fourth. Not that the recipes are bad its just not what i thought it would be since her other works were so great.

Cooking Rocks, Rachael Ray 30-minunte Meals for kidsMar 13, 2009 This book is nice as it has sections seperated by age groups, 4-6, 7-11, and 12 and up, it also has great kid friendly pics and such. The only thing I find I don't care for is that alot of the ingredients are pricey for the average family. However, if you are thrifty, or you know how to substitute, it is an AWESOME book!! My daughter and I were very excited about getting this one! She's 7 and is excited about learning to cook! I also like that, unlike some other cooking with kids books we've purchased, this one has seasonings and flavor to the recipes and food!! Something my husband will enjoy as well!!
